Akbank Sanat will host the first performance of the "Dislocation" dance show, with choreography by Gizem Bilgen, on Dec. 21 at 8:00 p.m.

In the show, which is designed with the isolation of choreographic language and jests, the creation of some static images and devastation of them anew, the motion quartet comprising of four dancers is completed by a motion choir including eight bodies. Not being content with involving the choreography on the stage, the motion choir turns the stage design into such a live element that it describes the quartet's range of motion, limits and transformations.

Featuring dancers Buse Ercan Öztekin, Emre Olcay, Gizem Bilgen and Mert Öztekin, the show's motion choir consists of Begüm Sezer, Can Özmen, Cem Bilgin, Çağdaş Ali Çakır, Mehmet Bahattin Genç, Meltem Gürlevik, Müzeyyen Durgun and Sinan Akdoğan. Tickets for the show, whose playwright is Anne-Marije van den Bersselaar, cost TL 15 ($4).
