Pera Museum invites selfie snappers with surprise gifts

Pera Museum celebrates #MuseumSelfieDay as part of the "Look at Me! Portraits and Other Fictions" exhibition from la Caixa Contemporary Art today. It also gives a surprise gift from the art shop to every visitor who shares a selfie taken at the exhibition.

Organized by Pera Museum in cooperation with la Caixa Foundation, "Look at Me!" examines the portrait in contemporary art with a selection of paintings, photographs, statues and video works from the la Caixa Collection. Most of the pieces in the exhibition, which depict social habits and strategies of portraiture while questioning its norms, focus on the concepts of reality, appearance and representation along with memory and fiction.

Pera Museum invites people to share the selfies they take at the exhibition with the hashtags #MuseumSelfieDay and #PeraMuzesi and will give a small gift from art shop to visitors who share their selfies. Visitors should show their selfies at art shop today in order to get their gifts.
