U.S. pianist Craig Sheppard performed at the 23rd International Gümüşlük Music Festival in the southwestern Turkish resort town of Bodrum.

Sheppard appeared as part of the festival’s "Concerts in Stone” series at an ancient stone quarry dating back 2,500 years. The festival is held with contributions from Türkiye’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism and with Bosfor Tourism as its main sponsor.

With more than 50 years of experience on the international concert stage, Sheppard performed works by Frederic Chopin, Claude Debussy, Gabriel Faure and Ludwig van Beethoven.

The classical music program featured Chopin’s "Fantasy in F minor, Op. 49,” followed by the composer’s "Barcarolle in F-sharp major, Op. 60.”

Sheppard received a warm ovation from classical music enthusiasts at the end of the concert and was presented with flowers as he left the stage.
