In the fourth week of EuroLeague, two eternal rivals in Turkish sports will face each other. Galatasaray Odeabank will host Fenerbahçe at the Abdi İpekçi Sports Complex in Istanbul. Fans will witness a possibly high-tension close contest because while Fenerbahçe won three consecutive matches in the last three matches, Galatasaray could not win any matches to date. Fenerbahçe won against Brose Bamberg, Barcelona Lassa and Zalgiris.On Wednesday, the game with biggest result difference took place in Istanbul. Fenerbahçe beat Lithuania's Zalgiris Kaunas 82-68. Zalgiris will play at home against Maccabi Tel Aviv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.On Wednesday, Maccabi Tel Aviv used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Istanbul 98-92. Galatasaray was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 54-45 second half run of Maccabi. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Galatasaray's 28 and made 29-of-36 charity shots (80.6 percent) during the game. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Anadolu Efes won third quarter 26-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. CSKA made 26-of-29 charity shots (89.7 percent) during the game, while Anadolu Efes only scored three points from the stripe. CSKA players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Anadolu Efes helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. CSKA's next round opponent will be Unics Kazan at home which should be an easy win for them. Unics Kazan was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 48-40 second half run of Darüşşafaka. Strangely Unics Kazan outrebounded Darüşşafaka 34-19 including 16 on the offensive glass.Unics Kazan will play on the road against CSKA in Moscow and hopes to get finally their first victory.
