Just 48 hours after their last Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games, the teams will be back in Round 4 as Panathinaikos Superfoods hosts Fenerbahçe Doğuş in a repeat of last season's playoffs, which saw the Yellow Canaries make history by sweeping the series despite not having a home-court advantage. The current champions will be in good spirits after a strong show by its four newcomers in Wednesday's home opener. Meanwhile, Panathinaikos (1-2) will be eager to return home after losing both its away games as yet. The Greens have struggled with shooting so far this season and will need to fix their rhythm in the offense to have a good chance Friday.

Earlier Wednesday, Fenerbahçe Doğuş defeated Anadolu Efes 81-70 in their Euroleague Round 3 match at Istanbul's Ülker Sports Arena. The first half ended in a 34-34 tie but in the third quarter, Fenerbahçe dominated their city rivals and outscored Anadolu Efes 28-18 to lead the match 62-52. Fenerbahçe did not look back and managed to get their second win in three matches in the Euroleague so far. Anadolu Efes, on the other hand, is still looking for their first win this season. Five players scored in double digits for Fenerbahçe, as Jan Vesely and Brad Wannamaker chipped in 15 and 14 points respectively. For Efes, Simon Kronuslav's 20 points were not enough.

Elsewhere, two teams with different emotional states prepare for a duel as Brose Bamberg gets ready to take on Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz. Brose (1-2) comes off an uplifting road win at Unicaja, while Baskonia (0-3) lost its home opener, following which the team head coach Pablo Prigioni resigned. Bamberg will hope to have its point guard Nikos Zisis and forward Dorell Wright in uniform for the game. Zisis was out Wednesday due to illness, while Wright signed Wednesday and is set to make his EuroLeague debut in the match.

The last game to tip off Round 4 is an all-Spanish League affair and a rematch of last season's 7DAYS EuroCup Finals. Valencia (2-1), who is undefeated in matches in Spain thus far, will face a Unicaja (1-2) side that has been involved in three close games but has only one win. One interesting battle in the match will be fought between former Valencia guard Nemanja Nedovic, who scored a career-best 26 points Wednesday, facing a red-hot Erick Green.

Meanwhile, The 2017-18 7DAYS EuroCup is shaping up to be a tough competition. After three rounds, only one team, the undefeated Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar, holds sole possession of any group. Lokomotiv is one of five teams with perfect records, but that won't last long as unbeaten Group A leaders Darüşşafaka and Fiat Turin will square off in Round 4 and the same is true of Group B co-leaders FC Bayern Munich and Buducnost VOLI Podgorica. Group D features a three-way tie between teams with 2-1 records: ASVEL Villeurbanne, Tofaş Bursa, and ratiopharm Ulm. In Group B, Buducnost VOLI Podgorica is also undefeated after beating a winless Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul 87-78.
