Turkey offers Egypt one billion dollar loan

Turkey and Egypt have signed onto a one billion dollar loan agreement to finance the exports of goods and services from Turkey to Egypt. The signing of the agreement follows Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi’s visit to Turkey to attend the AK Party Congress.



According to an announcement released by Turkey's Ministry of Economy, both parties are currently working on securing a one billion dollar financial agreement involving Türk Eximbank financing the exports of goods and services from Turkey to Egypt.

The billion dollar loan agreement was signed by Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan and Egyptian Finance Minister Momtaz al-Saeed.
