IRBIL — In Iraq, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has decided to give 100,000 barrels of petroleum from its daily export to the central government as a show of good faith in order to solve the petroleum crisis. According to the written statement on KRG's official website, 100,000 barrels out of 400,000 barrels of petroleum, which are exported daily to Turkey via the pipeline, will be given to the central government as of April 1. The statement notes that the KRG and the Baghdad government have yet to reach an agreement over the exportation of Kurdish petroleum to the world through Turkey and that negotiations are underway.
