The seasonally- and calendar-adjusted total industrial turnover index increased by 3.4 percent in March compared with the previous month, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Wednesday. In the subsectors of the industry, the mining and quarrying index increased by 5.6 percent and the manufacturing index increased by 3.3 percent in March, compared with the previous month. The calendar-adjusted industrial turnover index increased by 6 percent compared with the same month last year, while the seasonally- and calendar-adjusted total industrial turnover index increased by 0.5 percent compared with the previous quarter.
