The decision to impose an interim injunction on a bank account used by the Turkish Embassy in London as was lifted on Tuesday. The freezing of the account was taken as a result of a Greek Cypriot court order. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tanju Bilginç said on Tuesday that the Turkish Embassy in London had informed British authorities, and the British ambassador to Ankara was invited to the ministry regarding the issue. Bilginç said the interim injunction decision passed by a court in Greek Cyprus was a violation of the 1961 and 1963 Vienna Agreements regarding diplomatic and embassy-level relations, and therefore, an objection was submitted within the legal time frame.Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu's visit to the United Kingdom, which started on Monday, continued with meetings with investors and a meeting with British Prime Minister David Cameron. Davutoğlu also met with Turkish and British businesspeople at a dinner organized by the Foreign Economic Relations Council last night. Davutoğlu will then travel to Davos, Switzerland, to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF).
