Inci Group opens concrete plant in Attakube


Turkish contruction company İnci Group opens a concrete plant in Attakube region, just 4-kilometers away from Abidjan city center, on Monday. With $10 million investment the concrete plant has an annual capacity of 600,000 squaremeter concrete production meaning 40 percent of the total demand of Cote d'Ivoire market. The plant is expected to be launched with a ceremony attended by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during his visit to the country on Monday accompanied by high officials and a huge businessmen delegation. The company creates employment for locals and employs 70 workers only for the new plant.With 6-years of experience in the Cote d'Ivoire market, İnci Group, not only opens a concrete plant, but also operates in the sectors of construction, mining and industry since 2009. The Turkish company employs 400 people working in Cote d'Ivoire on $35 million worth-projects. The company also constructs 93 apartments and 23 villas worth $48 million in Zone 4 and Cocody region, which are expected to be completed in 2017.Two quarries of İnci Group operate in Abidjan and cover the 20 percent of the total demand of the country, while holding a capacity to cover 35 percent of the demand. 250 locals work in $20 million worth-quarries.
