International Media Forum to launch in Antalya


The International Media Forum will be held on May 22-23 in the Mediterranean resort province of Antalya.

The forum, supported by Turkey's Economy Ministry and the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM), will bring together members of the international media, representatives, and journalists from 52 countries, said the Swiss-based International Media Group Global Connection (GC) in a statement.

The event, which is set to address such topics the economy, culture, and the media, is being carried out as part of the "Turkey-Discover the Potential" promotional campaign, according to the statement.

Expected to attend the event are Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekçi, and Culture and Tourism Minister Nabi Avcı, where they will speak to journalists about Turkey's economic, tourism, trade and investment potential, the statement concluded.
