After huge interests from customers, the Turkish global bakery chain Simit Sarayı has recently opened its 34th branch in Saudi Arabia.

The bakery giant has continued to invest heavily in Turkey and bring Turkish flavors to the world culinary stage. In addition to its traditional flavors, the store has also received top marks from foodies for its chocolates, Turkish delight, and souvenirs.

Simit Sarayı's newest outlet, located on Olaya Street in the Saudi capital Riyadh, preserves the franchise's unique style and works as a pleasant venue, laid out over some 569 square meters.

The company plans to continue expanding in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and announced in July that it has signed a strategic cooperative agreement with the Fawaz Alhokair Group for the sale of a 10-percent stake in the company.

Earlier in 2014, Simit Sarayı signed a franchise agreement with the Fawaz Alhokair Group, which has become one of the largest and most successful operators in the region. It plans to open more than 250 branches over the next four years.
