India's Tata Group to invest in Turkey


The Indian giant and multinational conglomerate holding company, Tata Group, which employs around 400,000 people worldwide and operates in seven different areas of business, has begun negotiations to enter the Turkish market.

Tata Communications Transformation Services (TCTS) Vice President Vivek Chadha and TCTS' Turkey General Manager Bülent Arıtürk visited Çalık Holding Senior Manager Özgür Ulupınar at his office, according to a report in Turkish daily Dünya.

Evaluating the visit, Özgür Ulupınar said the interest of foreign investments in Turkey continues. "We explain the advantages of Turkey to our guests. There may be serious investments in the last quarter of 2017," he said.

Ulupınar also added that they spoke with Tata executives about what the two companies could do together in the Turkish market.
