Supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, 25 Turkish companies will attend the event.

Over 4,000 participants from over 100 countries are expected to attend the four day conference during Oct. 16-19.

The conference, in its 33rd year, gathers the world's most influential industry players for meetings, screenings and conferences.

Turkish series such as "Fatih," starring Kenan İmirzalıoğlu, "Diriliş: Ertuğrul," "Payitaht: Abdulhamid," and "Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz" will be presented at this year's conference.

On Tuesday the panel "A New Era for Content and Partnership in Turkey" will be hosted by Inter Medya chief operating officer Ahmet Ziyaler, Karga 7 president Tamer Üner and University of Georgia professor Carolina Acosta-Alzuru.

Over the last decade, Turkish TV series have become a major player in the global TV industry, successfully exported to more than 140 countries, netting $350 million annually.
