Seven movies debut this week


Seven movies will start screening in Istanbul theatres this week.Escobar: Paradise LostJosh Hutcherson, Benicio Del Toro, Claudia Traisac, Brady Corbet and Ana Girardot are starring in the movie and Andrea Di Stefano is the director. The movie casts oscar-awarded Benicio Del Toro as the protagonist who is accompanied by star of the Hunger Games series, Josh Hutcherson. The movie depicts the life of drug lord Pablo Escobar. Nick (Josh Hutcherson) goes to Colombia and meets the love of his life, Maria there, while Pablo Escobar is at the top of his secret, sparkly career. Escobar is the uncle of Maria, and Nick starts to become a part of this huge family. At first sight, everything seems to be normal, but in time Nick notices there are secret sides of this family that nobody knows and unwillingly, he finds himself at the center of the biggest drug mafia in the world.Terminator: Genisys The Terminator series, which were very famous in the 90s, are starting up again with a new trilogy. The scenarist of the movie, William Wisher was also the scenarist of the first and second Terminator movies. Terminator: Genisys is directed by Alan Taylor. The movie is perfect for science-fiction, action, adventure and thriller lovers. As known as the resistance leader of the humans John Connor fights against Skynet, the imperial machine system. The movie features Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, J.K. Simmons, Lee Byung-hun and Matt Smith.Dark PlacesThe movie is written by Gillian Flynn, the writer of "Gone Girl (Kayıp Kız). The movie features Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult in the leading roles. Besides Theron and Hoult, the movie also stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Christina Hendricks, Andrea Roth and the movie is directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner. The adaptation movie starts with the cruel and wild murder of Libby Day's parents on a farm in Kansas.The House at the End of TimeDirected by Alejandro Hidalgo, the movie features Rosmel Bustamante, Adriana Calzadilla, Simona Chirinos, Gonzalo Cubero. This is the first directing experience of Hidalgo and the horror movie shows us an example of Venezuela cinema.HonourStarring Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, Dominic West, Andrew Scott and Joseph Gilgun and directed by Matthew Warchus, the movie is a mix of comedy and drama. Lesbians and gays combine their forces with the sinkers and the movie tells us a story of overcoming political obstacles and judgments.McFarlandNiki Caro, who became famous with the movie "Alone," is the director of the movie that features Kevin Costner in the leading role. Maria Bello, Diana Maria Riva, Morgan Saylor and Chris Nunez are also featured in the movie. The movie reflects the 80s and is about the champion athletics team of McFarland town, which overcome social and physical difficulties.TaxiIranian Jafar Panahi directs and stars in the movie. He goes out as a taxi driver and puts a camera on his taxi so he paints a picture of Tehran's profile through his clients. The movie criticizes Tehran's administration and won the "Golden Bear" (Altın Ayı) award last year at the Berlin International Film Festival.
