Four movies debut this week at theaters


The High SunDalibor Matanic's drama "The High Sun" features actors Tihana Lazovic, Goran Markovic, Nives Ivankovic, Dado Cosic and Slavko Sobin, and tells a love story that unfolds over the course of a 30-year war. The film follows the love between a Croatian man and Serbian woman, played by Goran Markovic and Tihana Lazovic, who have to hide their affair amid the ethnic conflict. The High Sun was Croatia's debut film at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and won the Special Jury Award. The movie was also Crotia's nomination in the category of Best Foreign Film at the 88th Academy Awards.BurntStarring Bradley Cooper, Sienna Miller, Daniel Brühl and Lily James, "Burnt" is made for comedy lovers. Directed by John Wells and written by Steven Knight, Burnt features Bradley Cooper in the title role of whimsical chef Adam Jones, who runs a restaurant with two Michelin stars yet ultimately ruins the business with his erratic behavior. The cooking comedy features an emotional love story, love for food and the power of redemption.Nefesim Kesilene Kadar (Until I run out of breath)Directed by Emine Balcı, the movie stars Esme Madra, Rıza Akın, Sema Keçik and Gizem Denizci. Serap works long hours as a runner in a clothing shop and she is fed up of living with her abusive brother-in-law and detached sister. The only thing giving her hope is moving into an apartment with her truck driver father. Although her father is quite indifferent to Serap's wishes, she decides to build her own life.Petit Corbeau: The Big RaceUte Von Munchow Pohl's animation movie "Petit Corbeau" has released its new sequence: "The Big Race." The animation movie is dubbed by Oya Küçümen, Katharina Thalbach, Anna Thalbach and Jan Delay. Petit Corbeau creates an entertaining adventure while focusing on the themes of service and friendship. Aside from the five movies, Bernard Rose's "Frankenstein" and Şahin Altuğ's "Git Başımdan" (Leave Me Alone) were released on Thursday.
