Six Turkish films to be presented in Iran Fajr Film Festival


The 36th annual Fajr Film Festival will be held in Iran's capital of Tehran from April 21-28, during which cinema lovers will be able to see six Turkish films.

The film "Babamın Kanatları" (My Father's Wings) by director Kıvanç Sezer will be judged in the category "International Competition."

M. Abdülgafur Şahin's "Sevmekten" (Because of Love) will feature in the "Short Film" category. Additionally, the film "Rauf" and the short film "Güney Kutbu" (South Pole) are contenders in the "Eastern Vista," category, which includes Turkish director and scenarist Zeki Demirkubuz as a member of the jury.

"Kalandar Soğuğu" (Cold of Kalandar) by Mustafa Kara and Ceyda Torun's "Kedi" will be screened out of competition with the former playing alongside films in the "Green Screen," category, which is reserved for films with environmental topics, and the latter in the category of "Documentary."
