Directed by Semih Kaplanoğlu, "Grain" will be shown as part of the main contest of the 30th Tokyo International Film Festival.

After its world premiere at the 23rd Sarajevo International Film Festival, the film was screened at film festivals in Adana, Cologne, London and Sao Paulo.

One of the most prominent film festivals in Asia, the Tokyo International Film Festival will run from Oct. 25 to Nov. 4.

The Asian premiere of the production will be on Oct. 28 in EX Theater Roppongi with the participation of Kaplanoğlu and leading actor Jean Marc Barr.

Shot in the U.S., Germany and Turkey, the film also stars Ermin Bravo, Grigory Dobrygin and Cristina Flutur.

The film will be released in Turkey on Nov. 24.
