8 films to debut this week


Featuring Alyson Walker, Tony Giroux, Meelah Adams, Ian Butcher and Shaun Morse, "Selfie from Hell" is directed by Erdal Ceylan.

The German-Canadian co-production film tells the strange events that an American woman experiences after her cousin comes from Germany to visit her.

Aşkın Gören Gözlere İhtİyacı YokDirected by Onur Ünlü, "Aşkın Gören Gözlere İhtiyacı Yok" (Love Doesn't Need Seeing Eyes) features Demet Evgar, Fatih Artman, Hare Sürel, Ezgi Eyüboğlu, Ayşenil Şamlıoğlu, Özgür Emre Yıldırım, Turgut Tuncalp and İncinur Daşdemir. Written by Ünlü, the comedy relates the events after a homicide detective learns he will become totally blind.

Murtaza

Starring Cezmi Baskın and Meral Çetinkaya in the leading roles, "Murtaza" is directed by Özgür Sevimli. The film focuses on a story of a man who keeps the death of his daughter a secret from his blind wife.

Tutsak

Directed by Beyza Çimenot, "Tutsak" (Captive) features Türkan Kılıç, Yaşar Aydınlıoğlu, Tayfun Sav, Umut Özkan, Reyhan İlhan, Ece Baykal and İbrahim Muratoğlu. The horror film presents a story that takes place in a mental hospital.

Hemşİre

"Hemşire" (Nurse), directed by Dilek Çolak, features Evren Duyal, Sermet Yeşil, Aytaç Öztuna, Sertaç Ekici and Serhat Özcan. The film revolves around the story of a woman who has an unhappy marriage and finds solace in dieting.

Telle Mere, Telle FilleStarring Camille Cottin and Juliette Binoche in the leading roles, "Telle Mere, Telle Fille" (Like Mother, Like Daughter) depicts a mother and daughter with opposing points of view. Viewers will witness what the duo experience when they learn they are pregnant at the same time. Directed by French director Noemie Saglio, the film also features Lambert Wilson and Catherine Jacob.

10x10

Directed by Suzi Ewing, the thriller film "10X10" stars Luke Evans and Kelly Reilly in the leading roles. A man who loses his wife unexpectedly in a hospital locks the nurse in a 10-square-meter cell to take revenge and confronts a much more serious truth.
