Israel must learn to live with or die together with Palestinians

Countless articles have been written on Palestine. Still, writing on the Palestinian tragedy is not as daunting of a task as living in Palestine. The international press reports: "10 people, mainly children, killed in attack on Gaza park ...," "Gaza: Israeli strike kills four children on beach," "Gaza flashpoints: dozens killed as Israel hits mosques, school and bank," et cetera. The death toll, which has already reached 1,300, is entirely comprised of civilian causalities. Israel is manifestly murdering innocent Palestinians without any humane or moral concern. Wars are won or lost, but humanity is nonrefundable. The unlawfulness of a state soon turns into a heavy burden on its own shoulders, and thus it will certainly pay for its cruelty in the near future. In the midst of the incomprehensible Israeli attacks, calling out to the Islamic world has almost become a tradition, however, the number of independent countries in the Islamic world is highly limited, especially since the Middle East has been the dominion of the U.K. and U.S. Despite its great price of unlawfulness, the only reason for Western support of Israel is making the Western occupation in the region sustainable.Since its foundation as a state, Israel has refused to define its borders under any circumstances whatsoever. In his statement on the recent Israeli attack, Noam Chomsky rightfully claimed that Israel has never wanted to define its borders or establish peace and that the U.S. has betrayed the Islamic world by its silence, and thus, its endorsement of Israeli cruelty. Turkey, on the other hand, has turned out to be the only country that represents the conscience of the world. It seems that Israel is experiencing a kind of 'eclipse of reason' by spilling out death and it will not feel at peace until each and every Palestinian is murdered. Not withstanding the famous balance of power in the international arena, the continuation of such unlawfulness is impossible and unsustainable. The Israeli problem is, in fact, a problem of Western states, which for centuries treated the Jewish people as plaguestricken and caged them in ghettos by associating the morally evil with the social identity of Jewishness. Therefore, by exiling the Jews to the Arabic desert, Western states, and primarily Germany, developed the pretext of "the security of Israelis" only to get rid of their selfdefined "plague" and to sustain their occupation of the Islamic world. With the overt support of the colonialist West, Israel has been murdering Palestinians and seizing their lands since its foundation as a state, however, they should have learned from their own dreadful experience that it is impossible to annihilate a people, and thus, the continuation of war only leads to their dying with their own "foes."As the heavy Palestinian trauma demonstrates, Israel has been committing war crimes. The Palestinian resisters are solely attacking military targets, while Israel continues to murder civilians and carrying out genocide. The prudent Jewish people, too, recognize the fact that Israel is turning out to be one of the few representatives of genocidal states of the 21st century. In the complicated social context of the Middle East, it is a well-known historical lesson that no power is capable of surviving and flourishing by annihilating another. The chance for a fair peace deal exists between Israelis and Palestinians against all odds and each and every power should strive for that invaluable conclusion. As the war goes on, Palestinians will totally embrace their resisters. Like Hezbollah's previous status of 'invincible' in Lebanon, Palestinian resisters are reaching a sacred stage in the eyes of their people, while the pro-Palestinian attitude of Muslims in world is becoming loud and clear. In conclusion, it is worth repeating that there remains no other option for Israel other than learning to live with or dying together with Palestinians.
