Peace in Syria will bring peace to the region

Western countries have a tendency to get involved whenever there is a civil war in a country in the Middle East or a conflict between two neighboring countries and deepen the problem until it becomes unsolvable.

Perhaps this is an old habit that remains from their colonial past. The British colonial empire had the capability in its structure to establish order in regions it occupied, however, the New World Order that the U.S. represents can be referred to as chaos, deprived of the ability to establish order and can only settle for burning and destroying like the Mongols. After the U.S. occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq, both countries wished to go back to their pre-occupation state. The chaos borne out of that occupation has taken and continues to take the lives of thousands of people in both countries.

At the onset of the Arab Spring in Syria, citizens rallied for nothing more than the desire to have a better life and democracy, an understandable political move. However, the Bashar Assad regime cracked down on pro-democracy protests with unexpected ferocity, eventually dragging the country into a vicious civil war.

Western colonial countries that know the codes of the region all too well, came up with a very interesting idea, Daesh, which made all its predecessors look harmless.

The Idea was developed by none other than the British Intelligence culture, which has governed Muslims all over the world ever since the occupation of India. One does not even have to go into further detail since everyone has seen the continuation of this story after Daesh terrorists were recently allowed to leave their positions under the protection of U.S. forces.

At the beginning of the Syrian civil war, it looked like Iran, Turkey and Saudi Arabia were competing against each other, and now the global powers are all in Syria. This proves that a competition or war in the Middle East is not just a war because they give the West a reason to occupy new territories.

Although the war in Syria put Turkey in a difficult situation, the Turkish Army intervened in some areas controlled by Daesh and successfully drove the terrorists out. Operation Euphrates Shield was important because it strengthened the belief that Daesh could be defeated. It also, to some extent, obviated the influence of PKK-affiliated groups in territories formerly occupied by Daesh.

Of the countries in the region, Iran and Turkey must have realized that the unstable structure of Iraq & Syria will also affect bigger countries in the region, thus forcing them to set aside their differences and take up the responsibility. The combined efforts of Russia, Iran and Turkey have brought good results so far. It has also opened the doors to a likely political solution.

The declaration announced by Turkey, Russia, and Iran follows the norms of the United Nations as it looks to move towards peace one step at a time. As the World's superpower compete with one another, when we see a hungry, thirsty Syrian sleeping on the street we feel the urge to say "damn your global competition."

Today Trump is inciting Saudi Arabia to go to war with Lebanon and Iran. But everyone should keep in mind that any war or instability in the Islamic World will only help the U.S. occupy the Middle East.
