Those who talk about getting rid of Erdoğan
Turkey is fighting a war to break the chains of terrorism that are scuttling the country. Erdoğan is leading that war, the PKK will lose and Turkey's dreams will be fulfilled
The PKK leader Cemil Bayık told the Times newspaper that his terrorist organization is bent on getting rid of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party).
Bayık talked about democracy in Turkey, a value that is distant and strange to the PKK. He said, "We are the only obstacle for Erdoğan to fulfill his dreams. If he overcomes us he will win."
That is very true. Erdoğan's dream is a brand new Turkey where the country has its own "national" policies not dictated by foreign powers, the country becomes an elite member of the society of advanced democracies and is a power that is the guarantor of stability and peace in the region. The only obstacle against this is terrorism and the secessionist activities instigated by the PKK.
It is sad that the PKK is only a tool in the hands of some world powers that do not want to see Turkey have a mind of its own and become a star in the region. So, they use the PKK to stall Turkey.
The Turkish people have seen this very clearly, thus, despite all the efforts to undermine Erdoğan and his administration, the people gave Erdoğan a 52 percent mandate to become president in the first round of the presidential elections, which is extremely meaningful. Getting 52 percent in the second round when there are only two candidates is easy, but to achieve this in the first round shows the popularity of the person.
When the AK Party received only 41 percent of the votes in the June parliamentary elections, those who felt they could now manipulate Turkey to their own whims were hopping with joy that they could now get rid of Erdoğan. However, their joy lasted only a few months and when Parliament was deadlocked and had to go to early polls, the AK Party won by a landslide with 49.5 percent of the votes. If 41 percent was a defeat for Erdoğan, the 49.5 percent was a tremendous victory.
Erdoğan ishere to stay. The only power that will end Erdoğan's rule is the votes of the nation and of course the divine ruling of the Almighty. Not the PKK.
On the contrary, Turkey will defeat the PKK and finish off the secessionist movement. Bayık has the audacity to talk about democracy and human values when his terrorist lackeys bombed innocent civilians in the heart of Ankara killing 37 people including children. The Times has the audacity to publish an interview with a terrorist who is behind such bloodbaths and allow this terrorist to address the British people.
Erdoğan spelled it very clearly on Wednesday when he declared, "people will have to make a clear choice, are you with them (the PKK) or with us. If you are with them you are our enemy."

Erdoğan was the leader who gave the PKK a chance to side with peace, and instead, they used the three years of the peace and reconciliation process to stockpile arms and explosives in the cities and towns of southeastern Turkey for an attempted uprising and are now facing bitter blows from the Turkish security forces. Our advice would be for Bayık and his colleagues to pack their bags and flee the Qandil Mountains in Northern Iraq before the Turkish state gets to them and makes them pay for all their atrocities.
What is really sad is that two former American ambassadors to Ankara, Morton Abramowitz and Eric Adelman, are playing the same tune as Bayık when they wrote a joint article for the Washington Post asking Erdoğan to either initiate reforms or resign.
