The most important talent of the members of the cult leader Fetullah Gülen's gang, known as the Gülenist Terror Group (FETÖ), is changing their identities.

For instance, each Gülenist who was assigned to influence the organized religious base was almost a mullah.

The organization used Islamic terminology such as "himmet" (benevolence) in the economic chain that it established to reach its giant financial power.

It used Islamic jargons and motives to take away children who would join the organization from their families.

The easily swayed children, who were handed over to Gülenists with the approval of their fooled families, were subjected to intense religious education with controversial content.

Then some of them were chosen to be assigned within state institutions. However, because of the secular structure and practices of the Turkish state, the organization suggested its members who would infiltrate the military and security bureaucracy act in a secular manner.

It asked its members in the military to have their wives take off their headscarves and for them to drink alcohol at dinners and invitations, with the thinking that any instrument could be used to reach its goal during war.

By doing so, they eluded being classified as radicals in security investigations, succeeded in rising in the ranks and were promoted up to high positions over the years.

At the same time, they hoodwinked liberals and libertarians with the moderate profile they adopted.

However, the game they played was spoiled by the government making judicial moves to supervise the special education courses that provided human resources to this structure.

Gülenists who had acted like staunch religious followers until then, got ill-tempered and made a mistake by pressing the button earlier than they wanted.

They made a move to disclose all their organization in the police and judiciary during the Dec. 17 and Dec. 25, 2013 judicial coup.

And when they pushed their militants in the military to the streets and were repelled by civilians on July 15, 2016, they ended up dispersed around the world.

Most of them fled to the U.S. where their leader lives.

However, as soon as they stepped on the new continent. They again forgot religious terminology and adopted a secular oppositional attitude.

In short, they displayed their great capability to change and adapt.

All of them have become witnesses in the cases that are being filed against Turkey in the U.S.

Just like police officer Hüseyin Korkmaz, who was arrested in Turkey during the December 2013 judicial coup process and escaped investigation, saying he had no information and nothing to do with it.

This Gülenist militant is now giving testimony to the U.S. judiciary saying he knows everything in the case which he had earlier said he had no information and nothing to do with.

Moreover, he has confessed that he received $50,000 from the FBI, which is responsible for the U.S. federal investigations, and that New York's Attorney Office paid his rent and donated $900 to him.

I would like to point out that this radical militant has a work permit for the U.S., which claims to be fighting global terrorism.

It is clear that U.S. intelligence has taken the risk of using these radicals to stalemate an international rival state, as it has done many times.

Well, is the American public aware of the cost and security gaps created by this game played by their state to achieve a long-term goal?

Are they so sure of their elected politicians, senators, judges and prosecutors who are establishing weird relations to favor Gülen?

Are they never suspicious of the media that criticizes radicalism after every terrorist attack, but says nothing against these radicals willingly settling in their country and, moreover, praises them?

Oh my brothers, if only we would could get your attention more. You are not aware of how great a danger you are facing.

This is because the hitmen used this time are not outside like the radicals in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. They are deep inside you, in Pennsylvania, Minnesota, New York, Texas, California, Colorado, at home next to you, on the subway and in your office.

Considering what the radicals raised by U.S. intelligence against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan could do on Sept. 11, 2001, it would not be hard to predict the potential of Gülenists who are rapidly integrating into the system.

If you don't want to bang your heads against the wall in the future, listen to your Turkish brothers who lost 249 lives in terrorist attacks conducted by this structure just one-and-a-half years ago on July 15, 2016.
