Americans and Europeans are afraid of democracy in Turkey

The editorial board of the New York Times, a newspaper based in the so-called country of liberties, the U.S., published an article titled "Dark Clouds Over Turkey" regarding the June 7 general elections. The article almost made a call for a foreign-sourced military coup by referring to the "parallel structure" circles that were caught in the act while planning a mafia-esque junta by forming a deep state in Turkey. Unfortunately, the circles in the U.S. and the EU, which are disturbed by the position Turkey has achieved, disgrace themselves before the people protecting democracy in Turkey by increasing their activities to undermine the upcoming elections during the last couple of months. The Turkish public now knows very well that these circles have some problems with democracy. They are threatened by the fact that the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) government, which has been in power for 13 years through democratic elections and received its power from popular support, does not obey the U.S., EU or any other country or international organization and protects the country's own interests in a perfect way. The AK Party constitutes a problem for them since they were accustomed to remotely control the old Turkey. We are all aware of this. These circles in the U.S. and EU that have problems with Turkey and that do not hide their real faces by overtly supporting an illegal organization engaging in all kinds of illegal activities to create chaos in Turkey, namely the organization led by Fethullah Gülen, who is based in the U.S, maintain their activities to smear Turkey through the news outlets they own. The New York Times' call to the U.S. and NATO for a military coup against the AK Party, which is in power as a result of democratic elections, and against President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is the first democratically elected president of the Turkish Republic, is actually a shame for the U.S., which boasts being the cradle of democracy. As far as we see, media outlets are manipulated not only in the U.S., but also in the EU countries. The German media has especially undertaken a considerable mission in propaganda against Turkey and Erdoğan, just like The New York Times. The German Green Party, which is known for its affiliation with Gülen, and its co-chair also actively support these efforts. As a party that is ostensibly against violence, the German Green Party has made a call of support for the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), a pro-Kurdish party that openly backs up a terrorist organization and engages in ethno-nationalist policies. I wonder what German voters think about the Green Party's support to a party that backs up terrorism. Are Green Party members aware of the fact that they are supporting a party that has lately been attacking those who make the propaganda of other parties and that is providing full support to the PKK, which is forcing people to vote for the HDP by threatening their lives? Do the Green Party members know that their co-chair issued some political statements under the influence of a person who manipulates Islam worldwide and tries to stage a coup in Turkey by forming a circle of dark relations with a mafia-esque organization? The voters in Turkey are aware of all these facts. Even the voters in Germany who are of Turkish origin know. How could the Greens, which support the coup attempts against democracy in Turkey, address the voters of Turkish origin in Germany? We will see it. The situation is also the same in a few other EU countries. What a pity that those attempting to teach democracy lessons in the EU are afraid of democratic elections in Turkey. All their efforts are in vain anyway. The public surveys are quite clear. Despite all the foreign intervention attempts and the Brutus-like treacheries of coconspirators in Turkey, voters continue supporting the AK Party. The Turkish public's affection, sympathy and support for Erdoğan is increasing even more in the face of the heinous attacks from The New York Times, the German Green Party and similar organizations, which also support entities backing up terrorism. In brief, our European addressees should realize that Turkish voters cannot be persuaded with lies and keep up their support for the ones protecting the interests of the country. I would like to underline one more time that the Turkish public is pleased with the AK Party, which offers stability, peace and ?life with dignity.
