In a surprising way, Germany has become the main shelter for all sorts of anti-Turkish actions. Before going into detail of Germany's protection of anti-Turkish circles, very strong evidence recently emerged showing the shameful support provided by Berlin to the PKK network. Muhammed Fatih Safitürk, the local governor of Mardin's town of Derik, was killed in a terrorist attack committed by the PKK in his office; and Yeni Özgür Politika, an instrument of terrorism in the form of a newspaper, praised the attack in a headline story.The above mentioned newspaper is published in Germany, which has become the biggest critic of the perceived lack of press freedom in Turkey. The funeral of the governor was held with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım in attendance, while Yeni Özgür Politika applauded the terror attack in a headline using a photo of the Derik Governor's blown-up office. The tragedy of the moment made a whole nation cry when the young son of the governor asked whether it was his father in the coffin.In terms of the PKK members' organization outside Turkish borders, Germany is the center of the organization's foreign network. Not one PKK member has been extradited to Turkey following a demand from the Turkish judiciary. Since the coup attempt on July 15, Germany has accelerated its support for all sorts of mechanisms established to harm, weaken and even destroy Turkey. It is clear that German support for terrorist networks is not official, as "unauthorized but efficient" circles (approved by officials) are conducting operations against Turkey. Clearly, the German government declared that each person against Turkey could find protection in Germany.Anyone who suffered in the July 15 coup attempt as a result of attacks by the putschists can ask for asylum or protection in Germany in fear of a possible upcoming coup, it is clear that his anti-coup stance will be punished in Germany. Like Can Dündar, members of the PKK and Gülenist Terror Group (FETÖ), no matter what the tendency of the terrorist or a terror network is, Germany is ready to support them. For this shameful policy of sheltering terrorists, Turkey has a right to expect a clear explanation from its "ally," which also hosts the largest Turkish-origin community in the world.
