Russian Embassy in Ankara sent a diplomatic note Thursday to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs urging Turkish authorities to inform the country about a Russian student's whereabouts, who was allegedly lost in Turkey en route to Syria to join the self-proclaimed Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS).Russian Embassy press advisor Igor Mityakov said that the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not yet informed the embassy about the potential ISIS militant Ismailova's entrance to Turkey, in an interview he gave to the Sputnik news agency.Answering a question whether Ismailova's father came to Ankara or not, Mityakov said the embassy does not have information on the matter.Mariam Ismailova, 19, was studying in Russia. The teenager left her home on June 12 and never came back. According to the information given by the family, Mariam secretly took her passport and flied to Turkey from Sheremetyevo Airport.
