President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is scheduled to have a joint meeting with the leaders of Germany, France and Italy at the G20 summit which starts on Sunday in Hangzhou, China.

Erdoğan is expected to have a four-way meeting with Chancellor Angela Merkel, President Francois Hollande and Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, the Turkish president's Spokesman İbrahim Kalın said Wednesday in Ankara.

Erdoğan is also expected to have bilateral meetings with US President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin, he added.

The White House had announced earlier that Erdoğan and Obama would meet ahead of the summit on Sunday, while the Kremlin said that two presidents will meet on Saturday.

Erdoğan will be present at his first major multinational gathering since the failed July 15 coup attempt by Gülenist Terror Group (FETÖ) led by U.S.-based imam Fethullah Gülen, which added new tensions to an already complex relationship with the U.S. and its allies over Syrian civil war and the war with the PKK terror organization.
