Turkish, Chinese militaries to have high-level meeting

The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) and the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) are going to have a high level dialogue meeting in Ankara before the end of this year, Zheng Qinli, China's military attaché to Ankara announced on July 28.

Speaking at the reception to mark the 90th anniversary of the founding of the PLA Military Attaché, Zheng Qinli said military affairs have a very important place in Chinese-Turkish bilateral relations and he underlined that relations between the two countries' armies are "gaining momentum." "The high level military dialogue meeting between the TSK and the PLA will take place in Ankara before the end of this year.

"Further cooperation and communication between our armed forces will be discussed in this meeting,'' Zheng Qinli said. Emphasizing that military relations between China and Turkey is of great importance, China's military attaché also said they wish to see a continuation of the recent progress of military relations between the two countries in the future.
