South Korea seeks more investment in Turkey


ANKARA — The South Korean ambassador to Turkey says the Asian nation wants to invest in its host's financial sector, but added that such investment is not without problems.Speaking in an interview, Sang Kyu-Lee said that South Korea sees Turkey as a hub for the region, and after expanding in its manufacturing sector it wants to invest in Turkey's financial sector, too.He highlighted that if South Korean financial institutions, such as banks and insurance companies, can finance various projects in Turkey it will help the economy grow.The ambassador expressed satisfaction with economic relations between the two countries, which excelled in 2012 when President Lee Myung-Bak arrived in Turkey on an official visit.
