The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) announced August 2014 current account deficit (CAD) statistics on Wednesday, Turkey's August CAD was announced as 2.77 billion USD.According to the CBRT data, currenct account deficit for the eight month period decreased by half to 29.59 billion USD with a 16.2 billion USD decrease, when compared to 45.77 billion USD of the first eight month period of 2013.Estimates by economists were around 3.2 billion USD for August's CAD.
