Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) announced house sales data on Friday, stating that house sales increased by 13.2 percent in September when compared to September 2013, reaching a total of 115.786 houses sold.İstanbul had the highest share in house sales with 18.1 percent, followed by 10.9 percent for Ankara and 6.1 percent for İzmir.In the first nine months of 2014, house sales decreased by 3.6 percent to 831,287 when compared with the same period of 2013.Mortgage sales took 37.3 percent share in total houses sold with a 14 percent increase.
