Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci said that they maintain their views on the reduction of interest rates, adding that the central bank will feel relieved with the formation of a government. After receiving his certificate of election from Parliament, Zeybekci answered the questions of journalists. In reference to the central bank's tomorrow meeting, the minister said they maintain their view of the reduction of interest rates to the end, emphasizing that interest discount is for the good of Turkish economy. The reduction of interest rates means the fall of costs and the improvement of investment environment, stated Zeybekci, underlining that this would lead to more employment and better growth for Turkey. The interest rate discount shows the improvement and good position of Turkish economy to the world, said Zeybekci, expressing that with the establishment of a new government, proper atmosphere will be created in a faster way and the central bank will feel at ease.
