Hollande, Merkel to discuss Greek referendum in Paris

French President François Hollande is to meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Monday in Paris to discuss the results of the Greek referendum. The two leaders will hold a working dinner to "evaluate the consequences of the referendum in Greece" on whether or not to accept tough bailout conditions, Paris said in a statement.

The talks are due to begin at 6:30 PM local time through a working dinner, stated Steffen Seibert, the spokesman for the German government.

The two countries also called for an emergency Euzone summit after the 'no' vote was announced final.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel's deputy said that by rejecting further austerity for rescue loans, Greece had wrecked all hope of compromise with its EU partners.
