Wall Street closes lower with decline in auto stocks


Wall Street closed lower Monday as major American automotive companies' shares sustained losses.

The Dow fell 13 points to end the day at 20,650 and the S&P 500 lost three points to hit 2,358.

The Nasdaq decreased 17 points to finish the first trading day of the week at 5,894.

American automakers General Motors and Ford saw their shares decline 3.3 percent and 1.7 percent, respectively.
