Dubai-based Mirage to buy Turkish MNG Cargo

Dubai-based Mirage Cargo B.V. will acquire MNG Cargo, one of the largest companies in its sector.

The companies applied to Turkey's Competition Authority to assess and approve the acquisition, according to an announcement released on the institution's website.

After being given the green light from the Competition Authority, MNG's shares will be transferred to Mirage.

Founded in 2009 amid the oil-rich nation's drive to increase its influence in the aviation sector, Mirage Cargo Services operates worldwide in the transport and logistics sectors.

With 815 branches and over 9,000 employees, MNG Cargo is one of Turkey's leading cargo companies with over 600,000 daily deliveries.
