Turkey's Central Bank keeps all key interest rates unchanged

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) kept all key interest rates unchanged at the Monetary Policy Committee's meeting on Thursday.

The Committee led by Central Bank chairman Murat Çetinkaya left the marginal funding rate, borrowing rate of interest and the one-week repo rate at 9.25, 7.25 and 8.00 percent, respectively.

The late liquidity window (LLW) rate was also kept unchanged at 12.25 percent.

The statement said recent data showed recovery in economic activities in the Turkish market, and the increase in the European Union's demand of Turkish products continues to make a positive impact on exports.

"Putting structural reforms into practice will accelerate the rise in growth potential to a great extent," the report said.
