The Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD), one of Turkey's biggest NGOs, will bring together Turkish and American business circles at the summit held during the 72nd U.N. General Assembly Week in New York.

A statement by MÜSİAD said that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, MÜSİAD Chairman Abdurrahman Kaan, Brooklyn Mayor Eric Adams and nearly 30 high-rank executives from leading finance, media, technology and construction firms will be among the speakers of the Sept. 20 summit.

In addition to Turkish and American participants, speakers and attendees from different countries such as France, Italy, Azerbaijan, Macedonia and Saudi Arabia will also be participating to the summit.

MÜSİAD USA Chairman Mustafa Tuncer said that they are very happy to host the summit that will be held in New York for the first time after a long period of work and initiatives.

"It is of great importance that the business summit with an international identity is being held in New York, the world's finance and business capital, at a time when all world leaders are in New York," Tuncer said, adding that the summit overlaps with MÜSİAD's international vision.

East West Institute COO William Parker, Orchard Paltform CEO Matt Burton, Westwood Capital executive partner Daniel Alpert, ABC News anchor Kendis Gibson, former White House CIO Carlos Solari, Pepsi Co. vice president Umran Beba, Manhattan Chamber of Commerce chairman Jessica Walker, and Glen Gilmore, listed by Forbes magazine among the top 20 social media influencers, are among the attendees and speakers of the summit.
