Turkey's first locally made test to measure children's intelligence was introduced yesterday in Istanbul.

The Anadolu-Sak Intelligence Scale (ASIS) is the brainchild of a group of academics led by Professor Uğur Sak and funded by Anadolu University in Eskişehir and will be used for the measurement of intelligence for children between the ages of 4 and 12.

The test, originally unveiled last year, will be applied to students in the next school year.
