The Istanbul-based Kartal Anatolian Imam-Hatip High School and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) organized various educational events in western Africa's Ghana as part of the ongoing "Science Travelers" project.

A series of daylong experiments in the fields of physics, biology, and mathematics were carried out in the southern city of Kumasi, providing local students the opportunity to gain new scientific experiences.

Mithat Tekçam, Principle of Kartal Anatolian Imam-Hatip High School, said that the project puts theoretical knowledge into practice with the aim of spreading the love for science among youth.

The "Science Travelers" project started out as a local one and later expanded to Kosovo, Montenegro, Uganda, Tanzania, and Tunisia.

The project's next destinations are Bulgaria and Greece.
