Surprising results have come out of Eskişehir, which is generally considered to a fortress for the CHP.

According to the initial results, AK Party candidate Harun Karacan leads in the polls to Eskişehir incumbent and CHP mayoral candidate Yılmaz Büyükerşen, whom has upheld the position for 12 years.
