Prime Minister Binalı Yıldırım dismissed claims from main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu that the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) will announce a snap election to eliminate Bylock users inside the Justice and Development (AK Party).Speaking to HaberTurk TV on Friday, CHP Chairman Kılıçdaroğlu claimed that the AK Party is planning a snap election to eliminate Bylock users from within the arty. Amid discussions on possible snap elections in the near future, the CHP chairman asked AK Party officials: "Why are you planning snap elections when you are the ruling party? Only to eliminate the Bylock users from within. I could understand [snap elections] being held in June when there was a situation of a possible coalition governing. Right now, they [AK Party] are the ruling power and saying 'we cannot govern Turkey'."The main opposition leader Kılıçdaroğlu further claimed that ByLock - an encrypted communication app used by FETÖ members - includes users within the AK Party, saying: "They [the AK Party] certainly have [ByLock users]. Were they not the ones going to Pennsylvania as if they were going on Hajj? They [the AK Party] were speaking to them [the Gülenists]. The ByLock users' names exposed are being selectively announced under controlled circumstances. The names of these individuals are not being presented to prosecutors. The program must be investigated by an independent organization. They have claimed only one person from the CHP is a ByLock user but that allegation was proved to be false,"Kılıçdaroğlu said.Commenting on Kılıçdaroğlu's remarks on ByLock, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım stressed that if the main opposition party leader knows of a list of ByLock users then he should have shared it with the government. "If he knows of this [the list of ByLock users] and is not informing us then it means he is not doing his duties. The expectation from Mr. Kemal is to come and share all of the information he has with us so that we can fix it, if there are any mistakes," the prime minister said. Stressing that the main opposition party leader had made serious allegations and provided a report, Yıldırım said,"We do communicate with him from time to time and he makes requests and detects things. We then do our investigations and take necessary steps in the scope of that." The prime minister further urged Kılıçdaroğlu to provide the necessary documentation to support his allegations. In regards to possible snap elections, Yıldırım described such claims as a "shocking"matter, adding: "[Holding snap elections] is seriously a shocking matter. How could you hold snap elections to eliminate criminals? The right thing to do is to find them and hand them over to justice. This matter is not a game, an election means a year lost."Stressing that people had made their decisions, the prime minister said eliminating terror tops the agenda of country. "We are in complete dedication to our nation's integrity unity. Holding elections especially to eliminate FETÖ members is a shocking remark. A statement of such nature must have some sensibility," Yıldırım added.
