The Free Cause Party (HÜDA PAR) announced in a press meeting in Ankara Wednesday that it will support the proposed constitutional amendment package in the upcoming referendum.HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu said the party will support the changes in the referendum as it will be a step forward in establishing a more democratic and civilian constitution."In light of evaluations, we think that a negative attitude on the changes brought forward for people to decide may prolong the life of a constitution which is the product of a coup," Yapıcıoğlu said.HÜDA PAR is a conservative party that gets most of its support from predominantly Kurdish provinces in east and southeast Turkey.
