Turkey to Host Foreign Ministers at International Energy Congress


Turkey's capital Ankara will host representatives from all over the world at the seventh International Energy Congress and Fair, which is taking place on November 24 and 25.

Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz, Chinese Energy Development Department Head Wang Binghua, Mozambique's Deputy Energy Minister Jaime Himede and South Korea Trade, Industry and Energy Minister Yoon Sang-Jick will be joining together in the opening session.

Representatives from the Ministry, the Turkish parliament, related non-governmental organizations and sector professionals will also attend the event.

The Anadolu Agency is the global connection partner of the congress.

New projects and regulations in renewable energy, oil and natural gas, and energy finance are among the topics that will be discussed during the congress, which has been organized by the Ankara-based Global Energy Association.

A fair running during the event will have participants from energy companies, including Turkey's Petroleum Pipeline Corporation BOTAS, Turkerler Energy and Westinghouse.
