Turkey's Rönesans to build gas facility at the North Pole


The signing process of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Facility project that will be built in Sabetta, located in the polar region of Russia, by Rönesans Industry Facilities, a subsidiary of Rönesans Holding, has been completed. Yamal LNG Facility will be the first project that Rönesans carries out in the North Pole. The annual capacity of the facility will be 5.5 million tons and will be completed within 24 months in a region where the temperature drops to minus 50 degrees Celsius. The company continues to raising its annual turnover with new projects. Increasing its turnover by 50 percent to $348 million in 2014 compared to the previous year, Rönesans Industry Facilities managed to raise its turnover to $500 million in the first half of 2015. Rönesans has been involved in many international projects, most of which are in the fields of oil, natural gas and petro-chemistry facilities. The global companies that Rönesans has worked with so far include Gazprom, Sibur, Lukoil, Turkmenhimiya, Phosagro, RusVinyl, Linde Kawasaki, Mitsubishi, ThyssenKrupp Uhde, TecnicasReunidas and Mitsui Enginnering and Shipbuilding.
