German energy giant EWE to invest 120 million euros in Turkey


Energy and Natural Resources Minister Berat Albayrak announced Tuesday that German energy giant EWE have decided to invest 120 million euros in Turkey.

Albayrak announced EWE's decision on his official Twitter account following a meeting with EWE CEO Matthias Brückmann and the accompanying delegation.

In a separate meeting, Albayrak met with Lars Bondo Krogsgaard, the CEO of leading German renewable energy company Nordex. Albayrak also said that the company is interested in investing in renewable energy in Turkey.

Minister Albayrak noted that the meetings were proof of the strong economic conditions in Turkey.
