Opposition wins first round of Poland's presidential election: exit poll


Nationalist opposition candidate Andrzej Duda has won most votes in the first round of Poland's presidential election and will face incumbent Bronislaw Komorowski in May 24 runoff.In a surprise result on Sunday, Duda won 34.8 percent of votes, defeating Komorowski, who won 32.2 percent of votes.Komorowski said the result was a "serious warning" to those who want to have a "reasonable Poland."No candidate has won more than 50 percent of votes needed to avoid a runoff.
