A bomb threat was made Friday at the FIFA congress in Zurich, a spokesman of the Zurich city police confirmed to dpa.No further comment was made but a FIFA media team member confirmed that the Hallenstadion hall and the media tribune there were evacuated once the congress broke up for lunch at noon (1000 GMT), likely for a thorough search. The FIFA official did not want to link the seemingly early time of the congress lunch break with the threat. It appeared as if the congress would resume as planned at around 1130 GMT.The FIFA congress, where president Joseph Blatter seeks re-election for a fifth term, has been overshadowed by arrests of seven officials Wednesday as part of one of two corruption investigations. There have also been protests in support of Palestine's motion to have Israel suspended from FIFA. Two activists were led out of the congress hall by security after chanting slogans and waving a flag early in the congress session.
