The Swedish Liberal party's youth wing has filed a motion to legalize necrophilia and incest in the Scandinavian country, Swedish daily Aftonbladet reported Sunday.The proposal made by Liberal Youth leader Cecilia Johnsson was put forward on Sunday in Stockholm during the group's annual meeting in which Johnsson stated: 'I understand that it [necrophilia and incest] can be seen as unusual and disgusting by legislation cannot be based on it being disgusting.'

The controversial proposal says that as long as the person has a written will that states that they consent to someone having sex with their corpse, necrophilic acts should be allowed.

The proposal also states that two consenting siblings aged 15 or older should be allowed to engage in sexual intercourse.Underlining that the move was "a progressive step forward for the country" and that she did not like "morality laws", Johnsson added: "It should be your own decision what happens with your body after you die, and if that happens to be that you want to bequeath your remains to a museum or to science, or if you want to bequeath your remains to someone to sleep with them, then that should be OK."The group's announcement was immediately criticized by several former and current members of the mother party.Former Liberal MP Carl B. Hamilton said that the youth wing was only concerned about publicity; not the real issues of Sweden. He wrote: "Surely, you must understand that people are laughing at your liberalism, you nitwits?" on a Facebook group for Liberal party members, lashing out at the youth wing.Hamilton further continued with: "And what other challenges facing society is on the top 100-list for Stockholm's Liberal Youth? Sex with hippos?"However, Sweden is not unfamiliar with such efforts by liberals.Left-wing news outlets such as Salon had stated that 'pedophilia is merely a sexual orientation and not a mental disorder.'.
