France's far-right National Front Party leader Marine Le Pen accused the European Union for being totalitarian and called for a Frexit referendum in the French Parliament on Tuesday.

Le Pen said that the EU applied pan-nationalist globalist policies for decades.

'Put away your sulky, angry faces and rejoice in the UK's freedom,' she told the French Parliament.

Le Pen saw the results of Brexit as a 'victory for freedom' and said 'as I have been asking for years, we must now have the same referendum in France and EU countries," she wrote on her Twitter account.
