UK newspaper Daily Mail slammed for sexist front page


The front page of Britain's second most circulated newspaper was widely slammed by politicians and readers for being sexist as it diverted the attention from one of the country's most important issues to the legs of the two female leaders of the U.K.

The headline of Daily Mail's Tuesday edition read: "Never mind Brexit, who won Legs-it!" The front page also showed a picture, in which U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May and Scotlandtarget="_blank"'>The tabloid paper often faces criticism for publishing false or exaggerated stories with misleading headlines.
